Enjoying the campers, hexies, spiders and flowers!!!

I ADORE the spiderwebs! Are you following a pattern, creating your own design? Can you can some instructions? Years ago I fell in love with string quilts, then tried to make one that didn't work at all. I realize now that I picked a focus fabric and then coordinating fabrics and it was just too controlled. Plus -- even though the focus fabric was a bird of paradise print -- the colors ended up making the whole thing look like a Halloween quilt! Now I'm all about the scrappy look -- at least I'm trying to be!

First of all Aneela..how could you possibly doubt that people would find your blog interesting? You are so down to Earth and show how you deal with what life gives you so generously! I thoroughly enjoy what you're doing with scraps. :) It's like getting a quilt for free?
I loved seeing how you decorated the girls' room without going out to some designer shop and buying the latest matchy things. You are doing things the way so many of us are. You're taking something you have and dressing it up to make it special for your girls...and you share what you've done so generously. Thank you!

I just love the flower pics too. I have deep shade in most of my yard and can't grow a lot of the roses and things I used to. It's so nice to see them. I just wish I could smell them through this screen!

Yes, these quilts are drop dead gorgeous! My scrap bin seems to get deeper and deeper, I really need to begin working on blocks between other things. Especially to use up the little bits...I save everything! Thanks for the inspiration.

I love the spider web blocks. They don't look easy...

Your spider webs are looking so much fun! I would like to try that, too when I finish my Half Hexagons quilt :) And your quilts are in bloom with a lot of pretty flowers!!

Beautiful quilts. Great use of color and design. I love your roses too.

Thanks for sharing.
