I hope you don't mind that today's post is mostly pictures. Things are still pretty much overwhelming me over here but I am working my way through the commitment mire whilst keeping my at home girlies happy. Hubby has been helping out with that over the holiday of the last few days - My youngest daughter has been working on a school project on the subject of the Titanic and was so absorbed in learning all about it's history that she decided she needed to have a model of the boat to take in with her schoolwork. Luckily my husband was more than happy to make it for her - out of some of the Easter egg packaging we had lying about the place. I am quite impressed myself, I just wish he would put this much time into stuff I ask him to do around the house.
We still haven't managed to venture out to walk through a cow or anything exciting like that but as you can see from this pic taken this morning, my girls are (thankfully) still as happy as they come.

cute! cute and absoulutely wonderful little placemats/pads....they make me smile...

:D You need you-time and they-time. It's a worthwhile challenge to balance.

great model of the Titanic! I was going to do a work blog post on the food they had on the last night - perhaps she'd like to be a guest blogger and write it for me!

Wonderful photo, Aneela, with you and your girls. The Titanic model is pretty impressive. Very recently we watched a show on public television called Saving the Titanic: http://www.pbs.org/special/titanic-100-year-anniversary/
It's about what the engineers and the hands below deck were doing to try to delay if not save the ship. I had never seen those events dramatized in this way and it was very interesting.
Great minis, especially the color selection of the patchwork on the left.

I love the little quilts. I too am seriously impressed with the titanic model. The titanic is the talk of all lately. Miss E & G were discussing it in the backseat of the car to-day on our way home from the movies. Mirror Mirror. A real modern take on Snow White. Loved it! You and the girls look so cute and happy.

Your girls look just like you! So lovely!
I am impressed with all the sewing you actually get done - whew!
It would be nice to have just a day, or maybe two, of JUST stitching.
Guess I need to make it happen.
I LOVE the Titanic model - wow. I, too, am impressed by that piece of art....... indeed!
Spring Market? Are you planning to come? Let me know..
