Thanks for the chance! My favorite won was $100 from a raffle my grandfather entered all 10 grandchildren in. It's bittersweet because he passed away a few weeks later...but such a thoughtful thing to do and I will always remember it!

Lwghosts at yahoo dot com

I rarely win things, but I won a $100 visa gift card by telling an embarrassing story about something I did in an airport involving overweight luggage and a LOT of bags of gummy bears. Looking back it was totally worth the embarrassing event to get a $100 shopping spree!

I don't win often, but the best thing I ever won was $50 in a scratch lottery ticket when they first came out years and years ago. My kids were little and that $50 meant swimming lessons for them that summer. I don't buy scratch tickets very often any more - never even hear of anyone winning $50 with them any more.

The best thing I have ever won was a pair of designer dolly glasses (Atelier Matin!) for Blythe dolls at last years Blythecon UK (I'm one of those dolly people). Outside my window is a view of the grim terrace I live in, and at the end of the terrace directly in front of our house there is a railway bridge. In the distance I can see the roof and steeple of my old convent school. The view inside of the new kitten is a lot more exciting though :)I love your prints and patterns. I have yet to pick the perfect fabrics for my Bloom quilt.

I can see the bluebirds that are nesting outside my window trying to "boss" the other bids around! They are so beautiful!

Hi my best win was recently, a fat quarter bundle of Vintage Modern, I love it!! Your patterns are super cute!! Thanks

Outside my window it's raining and the kids are standing at the bus stop waiting! Love that I can see the stop from my windows. :)

love your blog and your patterns & fabric! outside my window right now are several tiny apple trees that I spent all of last week getting in the ground!

I won the 25th Anniversary quilt from Shakespeare on the Green last year! It is fabulous. My cats are sitting in my window right now watching the morning birds. :)

I can see my next door neighbour finally cutting the front grass - I've cut it at least twice this year and it's definitely their turn!!! (Am now hiding in the kitchen so she can't see me 'lazing' on the computer while she cuts the grass, how silly is that?!!)

Wow I didn't even know it Sew Mama Sew Giveaway time until stopping by your blog on my regular blog reading. Thanks for a chance to win a great prize and filling me in on the fact that it is giveaway time :)

Outside my window I can see the scaffolding obstructing my view of the construction site. They're building a new apartment complex right across from me. I can't even begin to tell you the joy it is for months on end to be woken up by cement mixers and builders shouting, it's positively delightful!

I won some patterns from for the love blog. I love your bloom quilt and especially love all of your fabric! I am already a follower and enjoy your blog.

I once entered a bunch of drawings at a festival ... for beauty supplies, books, restaurant cards, gift certificates, gift baskets,... and lucky me, I won a gasoline-powered weed whacker. Yay!!!

Thanks for the chance!

I won a fat quarter bundle of Heather Ross' Far Far Away II before it was officially released! I was over the moon (of course!)

Thanks for the chance! The only thing I have ever won was a potholder...beautifully quilted by a friend who lives in the USA.
Outside my window....it is rainy...and I don´t see anybody on the street. Have they all left for some reason???? It could be possible. When I am blogging I lose track of what´s going on around me!!!!!!! Dangerous!

Outside my window is a graffiti-covered train. I live in a repurposed warehouse but the railroad tracks are still functioning for wheat deliveries into the flour mill across the street.

I once won a $75 gift card from a hair salon. It's probably one of the few times I've ever won something and I was very excited about it. Thanks for the chance at this great giveaway!

It's bulk pick up in my neighborhood today so I see some junk. An old bed frame, old grill and piles of leaves and branches. People are cleaning out their garages and yards getting ready for summer!

Outside my window there is a biker gang of 2 year old with tricycles trying to persuade 3 mamas that they NEED popsicles. Even though it isn't even 8 in the morning yet!

I would love to win any of you patterns, Aneela! Thanks for offering them :)

I see mountains!! I haven't won anything before in a raffle..

In the last giveaway day I won the book "Planet Cake" by Paris Cutler.
A great addition to my library.

The best thing I ever won was a Toshiba food processor about 30 years ago. I was with my ex-boyfriend and we ate a lot at McDonald's. Must have won because of probability. It's still working ... the food processor I mean.

My room is right at the back of the house ... where they keep the wicked? And it's night here now and I dare not open the windows for fear of all the mosquitoes that will come in. In the day time it's not much of a sight i.e. the back row neighbours :( Sometimes I get some lovely bird visitors and immediately after, disappointed cat visitors! :)

The best thing I have ever won (or my husband won) was a camcorder right before the birth of my first son. Thanks for offering up your patterns. have a great day!!

About a month ago I won a fabric bundle...ANY fabric makes me happy!

Outside my window is a beautiful spring day in Vermont. It is 65 degrees and the birds are singing(window is open), butterflies and bees are enjoying the columbine and forget-me-nots!

I won a fat quarter bundle of Hello Luscious from the Fat Quarter Shop in the Swoon-along! Thanks for a chance at your gorgeous embroidery patterns, I love them all!

i usually don't win things but the sun is peaking out and i am inspired to clean up the garden or go for a bike ride.

the best thing i ever won...heart of my husband :)
outside my window....cars going in and out of the parking lot (we own a general store)...and husband mowing the area around the sheep pasture on his big orange tractor...

Thanks for the giveaway. Right now, outside my window, is the neighbourhood feral parrot on our lawn. The girls like when he is out there because he does a mean wolf whistle!

I can't think of anything I have won except a small package of hand dyed trims from someone's blog last year. Right out my window I can see the hummingbirds feeding on the feeder. They are so fun to watch! Also love the bluebirds. We have a bluebird house and four little babies left the nest last week. I think we saw them at the birdbath yesterday with their parents.

I won a fabric bundle from Blackbird Designs recently...so a pattern to use would be fantastic. The blogging world is so inspiring and generous. I so enjoy your blog with all of its stitchy goodness.

In grade three i won a stuffed cat in a raffle. It was made of a faux patchwork print and "patch cat" lived on my parents couch for about the next 10 years.

I have high school students walking outside my window right now...I work in a school! Missed you at market :)

Outside my window I can see the squirrels trying to invade my bird feeder!

lovely giveaway! I don't know how I'd choose if I won. One time I won a mini quilt made by Cherri House, a treasure! Outside my window... not much. it's pretty quiet!

I won some fat quarters from Monica (Happy Zombie) I loved them. The girlies are off to school and the birdies are singing me a song right outside my window.
I hope I win because I really want to try your bloom quilt.

I won a FQ bundle of Deb Strain's 'Tend the Earth'. Thanks for the chance to win!
~Terry~

I won a calendar raffle from my son's school. We won a little extra money toward his tuition:)

What a fun question! The best thing that I ever won was a scholarship to the Amber Housely Inspired workshop in Nashville, TN. It was amazing! (and how fun to stumble across your blog. I have been admiring your "a walk in the woods" line for a long time now. I think it's time for me to snag some and whip up more cuteness. Great work!

Ooh, I won a FQ bundle of Good Folks fabric from Anna Maria Horner's web site. It got me started in quilting!

outside my window, the city it's looking gray and gloomy. We had sun all weekend but it's gone now.

Hi Aneela! I won a giveaway on Kristin Nicholas' blog a couple of years ago. That was fantastic! Oh! I won a quilt in a raffle at the Strawberry and Ice Cream Festival when I was 5 years old. I still have it! Have a lovely day!

Hi Aneela! Thanks for the great giveaway. I am usually not one to win many things, beyond the odd t-shirt :) Outside my window today the deer are chewing away alongside the groundhog!

I won some Kona solids from Pink Chalk Fabric a few months back. Would love to win some of your patterns! I adore your designs; I'm currently working on 2 baby quilts for twin girls using Sherbet Pips and A Walk in the Woods! Thanks for chance to win!

I can see a lovely big hill outside my window as I live in the Peak District. The windows are open and a wasp has flown in - I suppose I must rescue him! Love your work and can't wait for your new range to be released!

The only thing I can remember winning is a year supply of coffee. It was four cans....maybe a year for a normal person ;)

The best thing I have ever won is a gift certificate for burgandy buttons. I was able to order fabric for a rainbow charm swap, it was a gift that gave twice!

I'm so excited about your book, Aneela. Looking out my window I see little white butterflies flitting through the vegetable garden that is doing so much better than I expected! It's a sunny hot day here. Thanks for the giveaway.

The Laural are blooming outside my window

Um...I think if I won this, it would be the best (perhaps only?) thing I've ever won. I love all your fabric lines and your blog is fun to read. It makes me smile to see all the things that get a cozy. :) I wonder what the craziest thing is that you have cozied...

I've not ever won anything :( but I then I usually don't enter since I think I won't win anything LOL!!!

Right now I'm watching my two cats stalk a little bunny that is in the bushes so I'm headed out the door to bring the cats inside before disaster strikes!

Thanks for the giveaway!

The best thing I ever won (that comes to mind) was brunch for 4 at the Four Seasons. best because I wanted to win it badly and it was an outrageously extravagant breakfast with 3 of my girlfriends.b Fun, fun day.
outside my window I can see my roses in bloom and I can hear my wind chimes and water fountain. Music tomy ears!

What I can see outside my window..... my complete bathroom being dumped into a skip! Luckily we have another one to use while having the refit.

I once won $5000 in an apple pie recipe contest. I'd say that was the best. Granted, it was a scholarship, but still.

Hi Aneela. Thank you for the giveaway. I would love to win the patterns. The best thing I ever won was $100 on the radio one time. Right now, looking out my window, I see the aircondtioning repairman working on the airconditioner!

I see the sunshine out my window right now, and I am definitely grateful for it!

I am not a big winner when it comes to things like this but I did win a children's cookbook when I was about 10.
Thanks,
Erin

rain outside my window, the strange spitting/misting kind :)

I must not be a particularly lucky person because the only thing I have ever won was a cd at a local baseball game! Maybe I will have better luck today!

The only thing I've ever won was a GIANT holiday Teddy Bear. I entered the drawing for a lovely planner. Outside my window I can watch them build a parking structure. It's been quite the intertainment.

I won a trip to Miami!! It was amazing.

The only thing that I have ever really won is an Easter basket for the movie Hop. I was walking by the Sony store in a mall near our house and they asked me to enter. My kids thought that was pretty fun but I prefer fabric!

Out my window I can see two squirrels fighting over a birdfeeder that was suppost to be squirrel proof. I guess they didn't read the labling.

Outside my window...it's a beautiful sunny day and the birds are singing in the backyard. It's very quiet this morning as it's our first day of the school summer break. There may be a silly girl running through the sprinkler later this afternoon.

Rained last night so the woods are now so green and bright. Lots of birds and woodland friends hanging around the feeders. Love our woods! Thanks for sharing.

I won a bag of fabric scraps once. I'm sure I've won "bigger" things, but I was so excited over those scraps!!

Awesome, looking out my window I see my dog chasing birds around our yard :)

Right now, out my window I see the courtyard that is actually quiet right now. Usually I can see my landlords out managing their farm, whether it's the wife working on the flowers/plants or taking care of the cows, or the husband, getting the tractor out or cutting wood. It's a very different, busy lifestyle, when you are self-sustaining! Thanks for the giveaway!

I once won a stack of fat quarters that sent me to the moon and back!! Thanks for the chance to win one of your wonderful patterns!
paulette

The best thing I have ever won was a $75 gift card for FQ Shop. I love your fabric and quilt patterns

Never won a giveaway, but outside my window I can see that it's already a (too) hot, sunny day in the desert. Definitely better to stay inside and go check out your embroidery patterns!

The best thing I ever won was a Nikon camera!

Outside my window there is lots of beautiful sunshine today! Thanks for the fun! :)

We sure enjoyed that!

I won 550.00 once playing Bingo. Still have the fold down desk I bought with the winnings. And out my window is a rainy Monday.

We put up the kids swingset yesterday and it's awesome to look out and see the kids having a blast in our yard :)

I actually was incredibly lucky about a month ago and won a sizable gift certificate to Fat Quarter Shop through a sew-along. I was so excited I think I spent that money in about an hour flat! I did get some lovely prints from the Lark collection to make into a quilt top. :) Thanks for the chance!

Oh how I wish I had a window at work. I watch people go down the hall in the large medical clinic I work in...I'm sure it's beautiful out. It was sunny and getting warm when I came to work this morning. Thanks for the chance to win

Your patterns are awesome Aneela! Outside my window, I just saw a floatplane take off on the lake. There is no wind this morning and the water is like glass. It was very loud and drown out the sound of the birds singing for a few minutes.

Outside my window my neighbour has just covered their lawn (the only bit of green I get to see) in a tarpaulin... so some gorgeous wee embroidery patterns to look at would be awesome ;-)

Thanks! I love your quilt and embroidery patterns! Best thing I've ever won: "Flea Market Fancy" charm pack!
Outside my window: A squirrel trying to figure out how best to get to the bird feeder.

I am outside the window too - and I can see the sun and the kids on scooters - perfect afternoon xxx

The ONLY thing I have ever won was a Backstreet Boys CD off the radio. The silliest thing about me trying to win it for a whole weekend, was that I already had the CD! I was just that insane of a teenage girl. Happily my obsessions have moved onto fabric ;)

I won a go! baby cutter last year, that was pretty awesome!

outside my window the sun is shining and I can see my newly planted garden.
I love your patterns.
thanks for the lovely giveaway.
Julie

this is the saddest thing but i am 99% sure i have never won anything before. i am SO unlucky it's unreal. my husband wins stuff all the time tho! AND to top it all off i am working a 12 hour shift in a basement today and have no window to look out of!!

The best thing I ever won was a little pincushion. I just love it.
Thank you so much for the chance of winning one of your patterns.

I've never really won anything big before, so I'll have to say that outside my window is just my backyard, but I can hear lots of birds chirping from their nests in the trees! Love to win come of your patterns, your embroidery designs are to die for

Outside my window I can see the garden that my children planted. Thank you for the giveaway.

We have a glorious, gentle rain falling on the trees in our backyard - so peaceful and pleasant. I really love your work - I have an FQ bundle of A Walk in the WOods that is next up on the project block. Thanks for the chance to win some of your great patterns to go along with it!

I haven't really won anything worth mentioning really... but outside my window is the view of London I won't see again until October (at least..) so it's a little bittersweet..

Thanks for the giveaway Aneela! The best thing I've ever won is a photographer for our wedding, that was pretty awesome :)

Rain, rain, and more rain!

Well, since I've entered in many giveaways, I haven't yet won any... I can tell you about the weather here... we have a yellow code for storms, but the sun has came out! Thanks for your giveaway!

Alice in Romania!

Love your patterns! There aren't any windows in my office building, so I can't see outside :(

I can see leaves--so many green leaves. It really is beautiful. I don't think I would have intentionally looked and thought about what I was seeing if I had not read and responded to the blog. Thanks.

I suppose this is going to be a bit sappy, but my son is the best thing I've ever won! He's the best son a mom could ever want!
Outside my window it's raining ~ I can see a lovely old cemetery from my windows too ~ so peaceful and lovely, lots of trees and squirrels too!

Thanks for the chance to win! When I was about 12, I won $104 from a local radio station. I was such a little bookworm, I spend it all on books!
